I'm a doctor and The Secret Book of Healing by Thomas Grant is one read I suggest to all my patients. It's so eye opening.
41 years old men 68 kg 168 height 140-150 gr of protein
Down from 88.5kg to 82.5kg in 2.5 months, with body fat moving down from 32% to 27%. I was stuck at around 85 for a while, but thanks to implementing the japanese walking technique you took us through, i was able to flush out and reach that 82.5.
My daily intake is at 1600kcal with 130-160g of protein.
I do strength workout 4 days a week, with walking step target ~10000 met 7 days a week.
I sleep 7-8 hours
My goal is to reach 78kg at 15-18% of body fat%
All i can do to become lean is survive on water…because thats all u can afford…
how is it unfortunate?
Just turned 40. I weigh 248 lbs, 185 lbs lean body mass based on DEXA, 5’ 10”. Should I increase protein from 185 to 250?
Doc, you wrote 15K steps= 500kcal, birmaly you say 10k steps= 500kcal, might need to correct it.
Hi Dr diamond I was doing a lot of high step count before for a few years and my body acclimated I was getting between 10 to 13,000 a day so I finally lowered my baseline down to 7000 for the last 3 months my question for you . is the 15,000 steps daily a non-negotiable?
😊
I was thinking of raising my goal for my steps to be between 12 and 15,000 a day? Well once in awhile having a lower step count.
I'm a very short guy 45 years old high protein 130-150g and cutting out bread pasta and sweets today is my first day. I'm only five two calories down to 2150 I do strength training Monday Wednesday Friday and with one hiit per week. I also am working on not snacking
I plan on doing 1/24 hour fast per week so yeah my main question for you was about the steps ? I really appreciate response and your content.

Doctor, if I weigh 80 kg, should I consume at least 160 g of protein? Does this refer to 160 g of high-quality protein—from meat, fish, etc.—or should I also include the protein that comes from carbohydrates and fats?
Im so sick of the protein obsession… ive been lifting w/ cardio regularly for the past 6 yrs strait.. 5 days a week. Im 136 lbs 5ft and typically do about 80 g of protein a day and have not had an issue building muscle and maintaining it… i don’t obsess over protein & listen to my body 1st.
.Hello Brother, I commented on your previous video, where you asked about my height. My height is 5 feet 4 inches, my weight is 58 kg, and I am 18 years old.
I would like to reach 50 kg, but my main concern is my belly fat, which is quite noticeable even through my clothes. I really want to reduce my belly fat and become fitter.
Could you please guide me on what I should do at this point? I would be very grateful if you could reply and help me. Thank you so much, Brother. ❤️
i think my protein is probably too high? i'm 123lbs lately and average of 145-160g protein, 54yo female, but i strength train 5x a week
First point :Nutrition: 1g protein/lb body weight; follow PFC (Protein, Fiber, Carbs).
Second : Activity: Aim for 15,000 steps daily; strength train 3–4 times/week.
Third  Get 7–9 hours nightly for recovery and hormonal health.
Goal: Lose fat, preserve muscle, stay consistent.
Dr. I've an amputation of leg; so, although I've a phrostesis, walking long distances is a choice, so I do only bike cardio and the weights. Can you help me regarding the meals and protein shakes? Shall I take them all days, no matter which days I go to the gym? Or only gym days?
I'm 45, with 240 lbs aprox., 1.8 mts height.
191 lbs & about 80 grams of protein
169 lbs & roughly 100 G protein
Give us some chicken breast recipes Dr Mike! I am probably not eating enough protein 0.7g/lb. Need some easy tasty recipes, chicken breast is too dry!
