One woman focused on cardio.
She lost 5 lbs of fat… but also lost 1 lb of muscle.
The other woman focused on lifting weights.
She lost 5 lbs of fat… AND gained 2 lbs of muscle.
THIS is why I need you to stop obsessing over the number on the scale.
Because losing WEIGHT and losing FAT are not the same thing.
And if your entire strategy is to eat less and burn more, you could be working against the very body you’re trying to build.
Think about it like renovating a house.
You don’t tear down the foundation just to make the house smaller.
Your muscle IS that foundation.
It’s what helps give your body shape, supports your strength, and makes maintaining your results easier.
Now, cardio isn’t the enemy. I LOVE walking, and cardio is great for your heart.
But if your goal is to lose fat, build shape, and stop starting over every few months?
You need to give your body a REASON to hold on to muscle.
And that means:
→ Lifting weights consistently
→ Eating enough protein
→ Fueling your body instead of constantly restricting it
→ Building habits you can actually maintain
This is why I teach my clients to EARN THE RIGHT TO LOSE FAT.
Because the answer isn’t always to eat LESS.
Sometimes it’s to start giving your body MORE of what it actually needs.
DON’T SUBTRACT. ADD.
And GIRL, if you’re sitting there thinking, “Okay, but how the heck am I supposed to eat enough protein without spending my entire life meal prepping?”
I’ve got you. ❤️
I created my 22 Lazy Girl High-Protein Meals for Fat Loss guide for exactly this reason.
We’re talking 22 easy, high-protein recipes, including 5 desserts, that take 20 minutes or less.
Because you don’t need another restrictive meal plan.
You need meals you actually WANT to eat that support the body you’re trying to build.
COMMENT “MEALS” AND I’LL SEND YOU THE FULL GUIDE. 🖤
