  1. One must always mention that fat consumption is important and should be high with good fats and not highly processed ones. Doctors still believe that we should eat a low fat diet. They are misinformed because their studies don’t include nutrition.

  2. I have watched many doctors and nutritionists in youtube. But Mario seems to me the best I have watched so long. His videos always are based in researches and meta-analysis. I love his presentations. God bless him!

  3. I love how you didn’t say cut out carbs cus i just can’t. I don’t feel satiated if i don’t eat carbs. Usually whole foods though. But when i eat just proteins, or just fats i get hungry quickly and tend to over eat. But when i add a bit of carb to the same meal i can go hours without eating

  4. Great short video from someone who I trust to present the science in an unbiased way. I'd really like to see a video on the contribution of excessive chronic cortisol levels to insulin resistance. There are many people with pre-diabetes who don't eat excessive carbs and yet have A1c and fasting glucose in the pre-diabetes range indicating insulin resistance. Is there some biomarker one can use to identify excessive cortisol as problematic even though the morning cortisol is in the normal range?

  5. In my opinion Mario presents one of the most practical and well researched recommendations for nutrition and related activity related to it. There is a gradual change in the understanding going on in the connection of certain foods and eating habits to our all round health. Of the many advocates of this critically important knowledge on this subject, he is the one I recommend to others who I think might be interested.
